Haven on the Bluffs brings Value and new Vitality to Cliffside

 | by | UrbanToronto

We love to call Toronto a city of neighbourhoods, but we sure pay a lot more attention to a few over many, many others that we seldom consider. Our lack of attention is often mirrored in lower land prices, and an astute developer who is looking for undervalued properties can make a difference, not only by bringing remarkably affordable residential units to the market, but by catalyzing change in the neighbourhood.

Finding those properties and passing the value on to condominium purchasers is VHL Developments' specialty. They did it at Markham and Sheppard, they are doing at Birchmount and Lawrence, and they are about to do it at Cliffside Village in Scarborough.

VHL Developments celebrate groundbreaking at 2150 Condos in Scarborough

The dreary weather didn’t stop community residents from arriving in droves to see the historic moment for the area. Take a look at some pics we snapped at the groundbreaking below…

2150 Condos Breaks Ground at Birchmount and Lawrence

With the ongoing condominium boom boosting land values city-wide, more and more low-density and underused plots of land are now attractive for high-rise residential developments, often in locations which would have been overlooked just a few short years ago. Yesterday morning, ground was broken for the first phase of just such a development, namely 2150 Condos, a 3-tower, 597-unit project by VHL Developments Inc.
